Como ocurre con cualquier intervención médica, los resultados individuales podrían variar. Los efectos secundarios más frecuentes son temporales y abarcan, entre otros, hematuria, disuria, necesidad imperiosa de orinar, dolor pélvico e incontinencia.1 Algunos efectos secundarios infrecuentes, como hemorragia e infección, pueden tener consecuencias graves y requerir una intervención.
