**Información original**

*Indica que en el estudio se incluyeron volúmenes prostáticos superiores a los especificados en las indicaciones autorizadas por la FDA. El sistema UroLift no se debe utilizar si el volumen prostático del paciente es >100 ml.

Teleflex no recomienda ni respalda el uso del sistema UroLift con volúmenes prostáticos >100 ml.

Indicado para el tratamiento de los síntomas de agrandamiento de la próstata de hasta 100 cc en hombres de 50 años o más. Al igual que con cualquier procedimiento médico, los resultados individuales pueden variar. Los efectos secundarios más comunes son temporales e incluyen hematuria, disuria, urgencia miccional, dolor pélvico e incontinencia de urgencia (Roehrborn, J Urology 2013). Los efectos secundarios poco frecuentes, como el sangrado y la infección, pueden tener consecuencias graves y requerir intervención. Consulte las instrucciones de uso (IFU) para obtener más información.

Contraindicado en hombres con hematuria macroscópica actual, infección del tracto urinario, incontinencia urinaria, afecciones uretrales que impidan la inserción del dispositivo o un volumen prostático superior a 100 cc.
